Eagle Point is located in the Rogue Valley north of Medford and east of Grants Pass in Eagle Point just off OR 62 to the east.

The golf course is an interesting layout in a scenic setting in spite of the housing that lines numerous fairways. The routing has an open feel along the broad fairways with scattered trees at the margins, but par is well defended by multiple water hazards and an abundance of sand bunkers. From the back tees the course plays to 7,099 yards, 74.8/142, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. in 1996.
