Eagle's Nest is on the northeast side of Somerset partially bordering an upscale, residential community.

The golf course lumbers over rolling hills and along broad, tree lined fairways with numerous doglegs, water in play on seven holes producing several forced carries, and sand bunkers defending most of the greens. It plays to 6,409 yards from the back tees, 70.2/130, course/slope ratings and 6,195 yards from the blue tees, 69.5/129 with two shorter tees, designed by Benjamin Wihry.
