Farmstead is just over an hour from New York City off I-80 to either NJ 15 or US 206 then north near Newton with 27 holes.

The golf course meanders over a large, natural tract of land without homes or development along the holes. Lakeview has 6 holes with water hazards along with numerous doglegs. Clubview is a traditional layout with straightforward, tree lined fairways. Valleyview climbs over hilly terrain along narrow tree lined fairways with small undulating greens and OB in play on 7 holes. The various rotations yardages and ratings: Valley/Lake-6,161 yards, 69.9/122, course/slope ratings; Lake/Club-6,680 yards, 71.9/125; Club/Valley-6,308 yards, 70.1/124, all from the tips with two shorter tees, designed by Byron Phoebus in the mid 1960's.
