Fox Run is about an hour west of Albany a few miles off the NY Thruway in Johnstown on the east side of town adjoining the airport.

The golf course flows through a scenic setting in the Mohawk Valley with views to the Adirondacks. The front nine journeys along broad fairways bordered by scattered trees while the back shortens up slightly along narrow, hardwood tree lined fairways. There's multiple ponds in play and a modest amount of sand guarding the small, oval greens. From the blue tees it plays to 6,400 yards, 70.9/120, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Artillio Albanese.
