Fox Run is about an hour west of Albany, a few miles off the NY Thruway in Johnstown on the east side of town adjoining the airport.

The golf course flows through a scenic setting in the Mohawk Valley with views of the Adirondacks. The front nine journeys along broad fairways bordered by scattered trees, while the back shortens up slightly along narrow, hardwood tree-lined fairways. Multiple ponds are in play, and a modest amount of sand bunkers guards the small oval greens. From the blue tees, it plays to 6,400 yards, 70.9/120 course/slope ratings, with three shorter tees, designed by Artillio Albanese.
