Greencastle is off I-81 between Chambersburg and Hagerstown west of Greencastle surrounded by farmland and forests

The course roams over rolling hills of south central Pennsylvania in a natural setting. There's a combination of tree lined holes with slight dog legs along with fairways bordering open meadows. There's sand bunkers generally defending the greens, Muddy Run and several ponds in play, and generous, contoured greens. The golf course was designed by Robert Elder and plays to 6,892 yards from the tips, 72.6/129, course/slope with three shorter tee boxes.
