Heron Glen is just south of Flemington on US 202 in north-central New Jersey, about an hour from the city.

The layout is parkland style, with tree-lined fairways jaunting over a generous tract of land, with each hole well separated. It's mostly straightforward, with several water hazards and sand bunkers along the fairways and guarding the greens set in the rolling farmlands of North Jersey. The course, designed by Dan Schlegel, can be set up to play to 7,065 yards, 74.1/137 course/slope ratings from the tips, with four other tee box choices.
