Neshanic Valley Golf Course is part of the Somerset County Park system with a 27 hole championship course and a 9 hole par 32, Academy layout located on the north side of the Raritan River between Somerville and Flemington.

Each of the championship courses, The Lake, The Ridge, and The Meadow provide a blend of links and parkland designs with either wide open or tree lined fairways over rolling terrain with the Lake course dominated by water hazards. The layouts are characterized by broad, gently tumbling fairways guarded by generous sand bunkers with tall fescue at the borders and ample, but well defended greens. Yardages, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees: Meadow-3,520 yards; Lake-3,549 yards; Ridge-3,516 yards. Meadow/Lake-73.7/128, course/slope ratings; Meadow/Ridge-73.4/129; Lake/Ridge-73.7/125, all designed by Hurdzan/Fry in 2003 and carved out of 350 acres of rolling farmland.
