Indian Island is in Riverhead off Cross River Drive near the Indian Island County Park.

The layout is over flat land with stunning views out over the Peconic River. It's a demanding layout and yet straightforward as it moves along tree lined fairways with a liberal amount and variety of sand traps bordering the fairways and along the mid-sized, round greens. It was designed by William Mitchell in the 1970s and plays to 6,506 yards from the back tees, 71.5/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter sets of tees.
