Pine Hills is off Wading River Road between the Sunrise Highway and the LIE in Manorville, which is about 1 1/2 hours from the city without traffic.

The golf course is a parkland-style layout along confining, pine—and old-growth, tree-lined fairways featuring numerous slight and dramatic doglegs. Multiple ponds are in play, and sand traps are liberally distributed along the landing zones and defending the contoured greens. It has four sets of tees from 5,161 yards to 7,132 yards, with the Whites playing to 6,574 yards, 72.0/127 course/slope ratings, designed by Roger Tooker in the 1970s.
