Jester Park is on the north side of Des Moines in Granger, on the west side of the Saylorsville Reservoir. It has an 18-hole championship golf course and a 9-hole par 3 course.

The main layout is a mix of long and short holes along tree-lined corridors with natural areas at the borders. Multiple water hazards are in play, in addition to sand traps at the landing zones and greenside. It plays to 7,034 yards from the tips, and the white tees are 6,024 yards, 69.4/126, course/slope ratings, designed by Richard Phelps.
