Waveland is a municipal golf course on the west side of Des Moines between 63rd and 42nd Streets off I-235 on University Avenue.

The golf course is a compact and hilly parkland layout winding through narrow, oak-tree-lined fairways, especially #3's tunnel, with minimal sand traps defending greens that tend to be slightly elevated and quick with moderate undulation. From the White tees, it's 6,282 yards, 70.6/121 course/slope ratings with one longer and two shorter tee boxes, designed by Warren Dickenson.
