Kierland is in the Westin resort in north Scottsdale off the AZ 51 to the east on Bell Road with 27 holes.

The golf course is a straightforward, desert layout featuring wide landing areas off the tee over undulating fairways bordered by desert terrain and over 300 sand bunkers around the greens or in the fairways. The generous greens are slightly undulating and surrounded by collection areas to catch slightly errant approach shots. There's five sets of tees overall, yardages, course/slope ratings from the tips for the various rotations: Acacia-3,435 yards, Ironwood-3,539 yards, Mesquite-3,478 yards.
