Kiva Dunes is located in Gulf Shores east of Fort Morgan on the Gulf of Mexico

The course wanders among the sand dunes and pines of the Gulf Coast in a mostly natural setting. It's a links-style layout traversing fairways bordered by deep bunkers of white sand in addition to multiple ponds, canals, and wetlands with the constant wind from the Gulf always a factor. The course was designed by Jerry Pate in 1995 and extends to 7,092 from the back tees, 73.9/132, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
