Kiva Dunes is located in Gulf Shores east of Fort Morgan on the Gulf of Mexico

The course is wanders among the sand dunes and pines of the Gulf Coast in a mostly natural setting. It's a links style layout traversing fairways bordered by deep bunkers of white sand in addition to multiple ponds, canals, and wetlands with the constant wind from the Gulf always a factor. The course was designed by Jerry Pate in 1995 and extends to 7,092 from the back tees, 73.9/132, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
