The Lake Placid Club is located on the southeast side of Lake Placid with 36 holes of championship golf and a 9 hole short course.
The Mountain course is a classic layout in a stunning setting along narrow, tree lined and hilly fairways with numerous blinds shots leading to the small, crowned greens. It was originally designed by Alex Findlay in 1910 with redesign work by Alister MacKenzie, who designed Augusta National and Cypress Point to name a few. There's four sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 6,501 yards, 71.3/126, course/slope ratings.
The Links is a wide open layout with well bunkered fairways and greens along tall fescue bordered fairways-a true links golf experience. There's four sets of tees as well with the tips playing to 7,052 yards, 72.5/129, course/slope, designed by Seymour Dunn.
