Lincoln Park is a municipal golf course located on a cramped piece of land high on a headland above the Golden Gate Bridge at Eagle Point where the Pacific Ocean flows into San Francisco Bay.

The golf course's setting provides scenic views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge if it's not in the fog, which would be unusual. The layout traverses hilly, cypress and pine tree lined fairways with narrow landing zones leading to minuscule greens. It's painfully quirky at times with a combination of odd holes and an equally painful pace of play and iffy conditions, irrespective of which, it's a treat to play if just for the setting alone. It's a par of 68 playing to 5,416 yards at the tips, 65.5/107, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Tom Bendelow.
