Links O'Tryon is midway between Henderson and Spartanburg off I-25 at the exit 5 to the west in Campobello.

The course meanders over a scenic setting with views of the Piedmont Foothills from a number of vantage points. The golf course is within a residential community moving along fairways defined by trees with a large lake in the middle accompanied by multiple ponds but a sparing use of sand bunkers mostly defending the multi-tiered, sloping greens. There's five sets of tees from 5,079 yards to 6,877 yards at the tips with the middle tees at 5,772 yards, 68.0/124, course/slope ratings, a Tom Jackson design.
