Village Greens is in the country north of Inman on the Asheville Highway, 30 minutes north of Spartanburg.

While a few homes are scattered along the fairways, the course is in a mostly natural setting in the foothills. It's a traditional layout roaming along hilly, tree-lined fairways with multiple water hazards and sand traps generally around the greens. It was designed by Russell Breeden with tees from 5,275 yards to 6,379 yards. The White tees are 5,909 yards, 69.2/122, course/slope ratings.
