Woodfin Ridge is north of Spartanburg off I-26 at exit 10 to the east.

The golf course is a parkland style layout in a residential area with Jacob's Creek and Lake Bowen bordering and intersecting the fairways over a slight change in elevation. It meanders through a scenic setting with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the north with a mix of holes carved through the forests while others are more open and forgiving off the tee. The course was designed by Bill Bergin and can play as long as 7,042 yards, 74.2/135, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees down to 5,105 yards.
