Manitou Passage is located about 20 miles northwest of Traverse City, at the intersection of M-22 and Lime Lake Road.

The layout is a parkland-style design through isolated, tree-lined corridors over rolling contours and along fescue-lined fairways. There's a moderate amount of sand bunkers and four water hazards, and the greens are all shapes and sizes. It can play from 4,733 yards at the front tees to 6,724 yards from the tips, par 71, 72.0/133, course/slope ratings, designed by Arnold Palmer.
