The Dunes GC is a few miles east of Empire on the Empire Highway near the Sleeping Bear Dunes area.

The golf course is a target, parkland layout along narrow, tree lined fairways where long and straight will yield birdie opportunities at several drivable par 4s and par 5s which may be reachable in two. It's short at 5,730 yards from the back tees, 67.3/112, course/slope ratings, par of 72, designed by Dean Wall.
