The Crystal Lake Golf Club is on the east side of Crystal Lake in Beulah about 45 minutes west of Traverse City.

The course is a strategic layout with a combination of narrow and broad, tree lined fairways over rolling topography with water hazards on half the holes and well bunkered fairways and greens. It journeys through a scenic setting carved through the woods with a couple of sharp doglegs and the occasional views of Crystal Lake. It's 6,685 yards off the tips, 71.6/129, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Bruce and Jerry Matthews.
