Crystal Mountain is between Manistee and Traverse City. It has two 18-hole championship courses, a spa, a ski resort, and a variety of accommodations.

Mountain Ridge is a parkland layout with various holes and constant elevation change. It's a challenging course in a scenic setting along dense, tree-lined fairways with conventional sand traps and large waste bunkers, and generous greens. It's 7,007 yards, 73.5/135, course/slope ratings off the tips with three shorter tees, designed by William Newcombe.

Betsie Valley is a parkland layout meandering along broad fairways bordered by stands of trees, meadows, creeks, and ponds leading to modest greens. There are four sets of tees overall, and the tips play to 6,553 yards, 72.0/132, course/slope ratings, and was designed by Newcombe as well.
