Metamora Golf Club is located between Auburn Hills and Lapeer on Lapeer Road partially bordering a residential community.

The course was built on rolling terrain well suited for golf. The layout winds through forest land up and over hills and ridges along numerous doglegs bordered by sand traps with water hazards in play on over half the holes. The green complexes are moderate in size and are typically well bunkered with sloped and undulating surfaces. From the tips the course measures 6,936 yards, 74.8/147, course/slope ratings with 3 alternate tees, designed by Robert W. Bills & Donald L. Childs.
