Mohansic is well north of the city in the Mohansic County Park north of Pleasantville off the Taconic.

The golf course is a shotmaker's layout winding along narrow, tree lined fairways over rolling contours. There's a modest amount of sand and and one water hazard with the sloping, quick greens the course's primary defense. Every hole is truly unique and isolated over varying degrees of elevation changes requiring virtually every club in the bag. It was designed by Tom Winton in the 1930s and plays to 6,558 yards from the black tees, par 70, 71.6/127, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
