The golf course is part of the Mohonk Mountain House, a Victorian style hotel resort on 6,300 acres just 90 minutes drive from Manhattan. The golf course is a 100 year old, 9 hole layout and while staying at the resort is pricey, playing golf here isn't.

The course saunters through a clearing in the forest over hilly land with uneven lies, blind shots and modest greens and only several sand bunkers in a setting with the Mountain House Hotel looming overhead. It's short at only 2,707 yards, 112 slope from the tips, designed by Robert Pryde.
