Casperkill is between Poughkeepsie and Wappinger Falls on US 9 an hour and a half from NYC.

The layout is a parkland style design over rolling terrain along tree lined fairways with Casperkill Creek traversing the middle of the course. It's a challenging layout with narrow fairways, numerous elevated tees and greens, and sand bunkers defending the fairways and the tiered greens. It is a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design built in the 1940s playing to 6,690 yards from the tips, 72.8/133, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
