The Links at Union Vale is located about 90 minutes north of New York City in southern Dutchess County 12 miles east of Poughkeepsie. The course was the product of a group of Irish golfers from the New York area who tired of the availability of tee times and built the course here in the country.

The result of their efforts is an open, links-style design along broad fairways bordered by tall fescue grasses over rolling terrain in a scenic setting in the Hudson Valley. While there's numerous ponds and wetlands in play, the dominant feature is the abundance and variety of sand bunkers throughout the fairways and defending the greens. It's 6,954 yards, 72.1/132, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees, designed by Stephen Kay.
