Morgan Creek is 30 minutes northeast of downtown Sacramento off Vineyard Road in Roseville within a residential community.

The layout has an open feel as the fairways are dotted with trees and bordered by natural areas with sand bunkers in the landing zones and greenside, water in play on half the holes, and the greens multi-level and sloped. The course as designed by Kyle Phillips in 2003 with five sets of tees from 5,431 yards to 7,303 yards from the tips, the middle tees play to 6,585 yards, 72.1/133, course/slope ratings.
