The National course is a Tom Fazio design in Reynolds Plantation and open to resort guests.

The layout is etched through dogwood and pine tree-lined, rolling fairways. In the Spring, The National is reminiscent of Augusta National with the flowering azaleas, dogwoods, multiple ponds, expansive white sand bunkers of varying shapes, and quick, undulating and contoured green complexes. There's ample elevation change throughout with several holes along Lake Oconee. Yardages and course/slope ratings for the Green Tees are 5,967 yards, 68.8/127, course/slope ratings with multiple shorter and longer tee boxes.
