The Oconee Course at Reynolds Plantation is built around the Ritz Carlton at Lake Oconee with several holes directly on the Lake.

The layout has varying degrees of elevation change and provides numerous risk reward options by cutting doglegs or with forced carries across Lake Oconee. The fairways are all tree lined with several water features, and sand bunkers are strategically positioned along the fairways and guarding the elevated, tiered greens. The layout is 7,029 yards from the tips, 73.5/137, course/slope ratings and from the middle tees plays to 6,294 yards, 70.0/128, course/slope ratings, designed by Rees Jones.
