Oak Valley is part of a real estate development southwest of Winston Salem off I-40 at exit 180.

The course is partially bordering a residential community with a variety of challenging holes. The layout is parkland style over rolling, tree lined fairways and along numerous water hazards with sand traps along the landing zones and greens. It can play to 7,033 yards from the tips, 74.1/143, course/slope ratings with four sets of tees, designed by Arnold Palmer.
