The Oakland Golf Club is 30 minutes south of Friendsville near Deep Creek.

The golf course is a parkland design traversing pine tree-lined fairways in a slight valley, with Bradley Run and its associated ponds bisecting the layout from north to south. The course plays to 6,395 yards, par 71, 71.1/132, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, the original nine holes designed by James Spencer and Tom Brand in the 1930s.
