Old Hickory is 40 minutes south of Rochester on the east side of Livonia off US 20A to the south, just east of Conesus Lake.

The layout features scattered trees along the fairways over rolling contours, several ponds and streams in play, and the occasional sand bunker defending the greens. Pete Craig designed the course, which has four sets of tees. The tips play to 6,655 yards, 71.7/122, and course/slope ratings.
