PaaKo Ridge Golf Course is a 27 hole layout east of Albuquerque on I-40 at the Cedar Crest exit #175 north on Highway 14 about 9 miles.
The golf course is named after the Anasazi Pueblo Indian ruins nearby, and is a mountain style design at 6,800 feet in elevation on the eastern slope of the Sandia Mountains. The layout's landing areas are bordered by arroyos, native tall grasses, and rock outcroppings all in contrast to the bright, green fairways. There's substantial elevation change with a number of downhill tee shots that seem to soar forever through the ponderosa, pinon, and juniper lined fairways. Yardages, course/slope ratings for the various rotations from the middle, Green tees with five tees altogether: 1-18-6,707 yards, 70.7/130, course/slope ratings; 1&3-6,846 yards, 71.5/130; 2&3-6,845 yards, 71.4/135, designed by Ken Dye.
