The Rainbow Golf Club is about 20 minutes off I-87 at the West Coxsackie exit about 45 minutes south of Albany on the east side of Greenville.

The layout is a straightforward, parkland design in a scenic and quiet setting featuring an island green set in the middle of a small lake. The fairways are tree lined, there's streams/ponds affecting play on a number of holes, but there's no sand bunkers. It's a short 6,287 yards from the tips with a par of 71, 69.2/120 course and slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Walter Birmann in the late 1950s.
