The Red Wing Golf Course is just south of downtown Red Wing, in a park-like environment enveloped by an established residential community. It provides views of the Mississippi River Valley.

The layout features generally confining fairways defined by pine and oak trees over rolling topography with numerous elevated tees. It's a drill in course management, with narrow, hilly, and sloping fairways leading to well-defended, raised greens. It can play to 6,206 yards, 71.2/128 course/slope ratings off the tips with three shorter tees.
