Reems Creek is 20 minutes north of Asheville off I-26 on the east side of Weaverville.

The golf course is a hilly, target layout trekking through a residential community in a scenic mountain setting with its share of blind shots and quirky holes where course management is critical. There's numerous creeks and ponds in play as well as an assortment of pot and sculptured, conventional sand traps along the fairways and defending the greens. It plays to 6,492 yards, 71.9/133 course/slope ratings from the tips with two shorter tees, designed by Hawtree & Sons in the late 1980s.
