The River Club is 20 minutes south of Myrtle Beach on Pawleys Island off US 17.

It's a challenging golf course along tree-lined fairways with water on almost every hole. It is extremely well-bunkered, yielding a target layout requiring attentive course management. There are multiple risk/reward opportunities, but unfortunately, they are unrewarded most of the time. The course was designed by Tom Jackson and is 6,677 yards from the championship tees, 72.2/135, course/slope ratings with three shorter tee boxes.
