The Riverfront Golf Club is on the west side of Norfolk off I-664 at exit 9A to the northwest winding through a residential development on the south shore of the Nansemond River.

The layout is over gently, rolling topography carved through mature oak and pine tree corridors along tidal marshes and wetlands. It features broad, undulating fairways with numerous gentle doglegs and a host of unique sand bunkers complexes along the fairways and defending the greens. There's four sets of tees from 5,259 yards to 6,735 yards with the white tees playing to 6,357 yards, 70.3/126, course/slope ratings, designed by Tom Doak.
