Rocky River is located on the north side of the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord about 20 minutes north of Charlotte.

The layout is challenging as it moves along hilly, tree lined fairways bordered by wetlands, ponds, and rock outcroppings with well defended, contoured and quick greens. It's fair off the tee for the most part with the challenge on approach to the greens. There's five sets of tees in total and from the tips plays to 6,970 yards, 73.5/137, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Dan Maples.
