The golf course borders a natural area without homes or development along the holes. It's an interesting and playable, layout that is fair and roomy off the tee, but challenging with water hazards on 15 holes, a variety of shapes and styles of sand bunkers, quick, undulating greens, and a stirring finishing hole that will settle most wagers. The course was designed by Dr Michael Hurdzan and plays to 6,859 yards, 73.2/133, course/slope ratings from the black tees with three shorter tee boxes.
