Santee National is on the south side of Lake Marion and west of I-95 off exit 98.

The course is within a small residential development with a mix of narrow and broad, pine tree lined fairways along numerous doglegs with water hazards on half the holes and a modest amount of sand bunkers both along the fairways and greenside. There's four sets of tees overall, it's 6,858 yards, 72.9/128, course/slope ratings from the back tees, designed by of J. Porter Gibson.
