Santee National is on the south side of Lake Marion and west of I-95 off exit 98.

The course is within a small residential development. It has a mix of narrow and broad, pine-tree-lined fairways along numerous doglegs, water hazards on half the holes, and a modest amount of sand bunkers both along the fairways and greenside. There are four sets of tees overall. It's 6,858 yards, 72.9/128 course/slope ratings from the back tees, designed by J. Porter Gibson.
