Saratoga Spa Golf Course is in the state park just south of town.

The course roams through a pine forest with a moderate amount of sand bunkers and only two water hazards. The layout is mostly flat, and the fairways are broad enough off the tee, leading to generous, slightly undulating greens. There are five sets of tees overall, with the middle tees playing to 6,268 yards, 69.8/128, and course/slope ratings, redesigned and expanded by William Mitchell in the mid-1950s. There's also a par 29 executive course at 1,605 yards, which is appropriate for beginners and the higher handicappers or to work on the short game.
