Schifferdecker is a municipal golf course on the west side of Joplin on 7th Avenue/Route 66.

It's a traditional layout winding along tree lined fairways over mostly level terrain. The course is generally straightforward save for a large pond which borders two holes and a sparing use of sand traps as hazards. It's short at 6,123 yards from the tips, par 71, 68.7/108, course/slope ratings designed by Jim Latimere in the 1920s.
