Silver Creek is in Waterloo midway between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes on the south side of the Seneca River.

The layout is over fairly level land along tree lined fairways with Silver Creek and several ponds in play and sand bunkers guarding a few of the greens. The front side is a mild warm-up for a more engaging backside which tends to be longer with narrow fairways. It was designed by Paul Perkins and from the tips is only 6,168 yards, 69.0/119, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
