Smoky Mountain Country Club is 1 1/2 hours west of Asheville off the Smoky Mountain Expressway at exit 72 then south a couple of miles.

It's a classic, mountain golf course experience with serious elevation change as the course climbs from the valley floor up onto the mountainside with views out over the Smokies and the valley from almost every vantage point. The golf course was designed by Thomas Walker and plays to 6,150 yards from the tips, 67.2/123, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
