South Riding is within a residential development off US 50 just south of Dulles Airport about 45 minutes from D.C.

The broad fairways are tree lined with numerous ponds and Elklick Creek traversing the middle of the layout and in play often. There's ample sand bunkering in the landing zones and defending the typically generous greens of varying configurations. It was designed by Dan Maples in 1997 with five sets of tees, the middle tees play to 6,070 yards, 69.8/126, course/slope ratings.
