Springdale Country Club is about 15 minutes east of Waynesville on US 276 in the shadow of Cold Mountain.

The mountain layout at 3,200 feet in elevation has a mix of open fairways bordered by scattered trees while others are thread through narrow, tree lined corridors over rolling hills, and is a drill in course management for the most part. It's a scenic setting in the Smokies between Rocky Face Mountain and Cold Mountain on a large tract of land with a stream intersecting a few of the holes and sand bunkers defending the modest greens. It plays to 6,812 yards from the black tees, 72.5/130, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Joe Holmes.
