Sunridge is just south of Carson City, about thirty minutes from Reno.

The layout borders a residential development on the west side of the Carson River, with either homes or natural corridors lining the holes. The course features major elevation change as the holes move through rough, natural terrain, with soft fairways and greens, and water hazards on over half the holes. From the tips, it is 6,914 yards, 72.5/137 course/slope ratings, and four shorter tee boxes, designed by Bill Wellman.
