The Bridges is within an Audubon Sanctuary in Bay St. Louis just 30 minutes east of New Orleans off I-10.

Since Katrina cleared out some 3000 trees, it's a little friendlier yet the course still navigates dense stands of live oaks, magnolias, and pines, marshes and water hazards, not to mention the abundance of sand bunkers throughout the fairways and greens. There's numerous forced carries as it makes its way along narrow fairways and over 21 bridges. From the tips it's 6,841 yards, par 72, 73.5/138, course/slope ratings and four shorter tees, designed by Arnold Palmer.
